Beans (Green)

Green beans contain calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, and vitamin C.

To prepare beans, snap off ends, break or cut into desired length, and wash. Serve raw in green salad, add to soup or stew, or steam briefly until tender-crisp (only 3 to 5 minutes, do not over-cook), and serve with salt and pepper.
