Cilantro

Cilantro

Cilantro is actually grown from Coriander seeds, being the leaves of the Coriander plant. It is also called Chinese Parsley, but is known as much for its use in Mexican cooking as Asian dishes.

Chopped Cilantro adds the finishing touch to any Mexican dish–from sour cream or salsa to guacamole or bean dip.
Use it to top any taco salad or enchilada casserole.

In Asian dishes, add a bit of cilantro to stir fry or soup–or use as an ingredient in dressing for Chinese chicken salad.

Cilantro is a rich anti-oxidant, and is especially helpful in lowering bad cholesterol! Click here to read more nutritional benefits of Cilantro.
