Seasonal Eating
Seasonal eating is simply eating what is in season when it is in season. That means if it’s not in season, you eat something you froze, dried, or canned when it was in season, or do without. It’s the old fashioned way of eating, but it’s coming back into vogue across America.
Below you will find a chart of when you can expect to find fresh fruits and vegetables available here in northeastern Washington. As always, availability depends on the seasonal conditions.
