As you drive by on Highway 395, you will see us start to prepare the garden beginning in mid-April. Because of the short growing season here in north-eastern Washington, we plant in plastic-covered rows to keep the soil warm and conserve water. We do not use any chemical pesticides or herbicides.
We often pick into early November, depending on the autumn. All the organic matter from the plants goes back into the soil.
Personal garden tours are available throughout the summer by appointment. A group tour is scheduled at least once a year for our CSA subscribers. And visitors to our annual Farm Festival will get to enjoy not only the garden, but its luscious bounty!
